Article 9

Youth Ballet Prix is structured to unfold in three progressive steps. Three days are devoted to each step.

First Step: During the first three days, each *Participant is scheduled to perform daily, and is evaluated accordingly. (In this context, *Participant refers to  the Solo, Duo and Trio, and all Ensemble categories.)

At the conclusion of the First Step, each Participant will receive a Certificate of Recognition, and a Youth Ballet Prix Medal of the First Step.

Special Recognition
will be awarded to those earning the highest in each one of the following criteria:  Skill of the Language of Ballet,  Sense of Style,  Artistry,  Musicality,  Presence,  Presentation*,  All-Around Performance,  Appropriate Choice of Dance,  on each level and category.  Choreography* - when the choice of dance is an original composition.

Youth Ballet Prix is a unique combination of performing and training. Each Participant is given ample opportunity to perform, while at the same time, they are offered daily training, coaching, and the learning of classic repertoire. The highlights of which will be performed at the Gala Festival.

Second Step: Those who advance to the Second Step, perform for three days, and are evaluated.

At the conclusion of the Second Step, each Participant will receive a Certificate of Recognition, and a Youth Ballet Prix Medal of the Second Step.

Special Recognition
will be awarded to those earning the highest in each one of the following criteria: (Please, see First Step, for details)

♫ ♪ Third Step: Finally, those who advance to the Third Step, perform for three days, and are evaluated.

At the conclusion of the Third Step, each Participant will receive a Certificate of Recognition, and a Youth Ballet Prix Medal of the Third Step.

Special Recognition
will be awarded to those earning the highest in each one of the following criteria: (Please, see First Step, for details)

The third day of the Third Step, the Grand Prizes of the Youth Ballet Prix will be awarded:  GoldSilverBronze, and Other Prizes. All these Grand Prizes shall be awarded on all levels
JuniorJunior 1Junior 2IntermediateIntermediate 1Intermediate 2Intermediate 3SeniorSenior 1Senior 2.  And all these Grand Prizes shall be awarded for all categories*SoloDuo and Trio;  and all Ensemble categories.

*In the Solo category, there are separate awards for female and male, on all levels.
