First Day—Monday Youth Ballet Prix welcomes all Participants, Teachers and Coaches, Parents, Relatives and Friends. We are transferred to Hotel Sovetskaya, in the heart of the city. A Welcome Package, which includes a boxed supper awaits each of us in our rooms.

Second Day—Tuesday After a restful night, we are offered a (daily) buffet style breakfast, in one of the Hotel’s attractive restaurants. We enjoy a city tour, admiring the baroque, rococo and classical styles of the magnificent palaces and broad boulevards. Our senses are charmed by the city that is built on 101 islands. A Welcome Dinner is awaiting us in the late afternoon. We are taken to a ballet performance in the evening.

Third Day—Wednesday A lovely morning is spent, viewing sights, significant for ballet, including The Mariinsky Theatre, home of the Kirov Ballet, where many of our dream ballets, such as The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty were born. and The Vaganova Ballet Academy, on Rossi or Theatre Street, where ballet legends were and are trained. Orientation for Youth Ballet Prix follows. Later, after dinner, we are taken to another ballet performance.

Fourth Day—Thursday Transfer to location: 9—10 am. Training, coaching, and the learning of classic repertoire: 10 am—1 pm. Lunch*: 1—2 pm. Preparation for Step One of Youth Ballet Prix: 2—4 pm. Performance, First Day of Step One of Youth Ballet Prix: 5—8 pm.

Fifth Day—Friday Transfer to location: 9—10 am. Training, coaching, and the learning of classic repertoire: 10 am—1 pm. Lunch*: 1—2 pm. Preparation for Step One of Youth Ballet Prix: 2—4 pm. Performance, Second Day of Step One of Youth Ballet Prix: 5—8 pm.

Sixth Day—Saturday Transfer to location: 9—10 am. Training, coaching, and the learning of classic repertoire: 10 am—1 pm. Lunch*: 1—2 pm. Preparation for Step One of Youth Ballet Prix: 2—4 pm. Performance, Third Day of Step One of Youth Ballet Prix: 5—8 pm. Recognitions are awarded.

Seventh Day—Sunday Transfer to location: 9—10 am. Training, coaching, and the learning of classic repertoire: 10 am—1 pm. Lunch*: 1—2 pm. Preparation for Step Two of Youth Ballet Prix: 2—4 pm. Performance, First Day of Step Two of Youth Ballet Prix: 5—8 pm.

Eight Day—Monday Transfer to location: 9—10 am. Training, coaching, and the learning of classic repertoire: 10 am—1 pm. Lunch*: 1—2 pm. Preparation for Step Two of Youth Ballet Prix: 2—4 pm. Performance, Second Day of Step Two of Youth Ballet Prix: 5—8 pm.
